Hola, friends and family...

A merry "hola" friends and family! We are back from our Mexican carribean vacation. We had a wonderful time, and are joyed to be back home with our little girl. It was a much needed, romantic getaway. 4 years was just way too long to go, without a vacation! We have vowed to one another not to let that much time pass in between now and the next vacation. You guys all have to hold us to that, okay?


The trip was so relaxing. Both Todd and I feel so rejuvinated and revived! We did a serious amount of alot of nothing...we slept in every morning, napped on the beach, ate our selves silly on guacamole, chips and pico de galo, got a couples massage, watched 5 movies, read books and magazines, shopped and talked! It was really a wonderful treat, and such a great boost for our marriage!


We missed our girl sooooo much. We were so thrilled to get home to her. She seemed to enjoy her little vacation to her Gigi and Papa's house, too. She did really well my mom said, and did not seem to even miss us at all! She got to see several of her cousins most every day, enjoy Gigi's home cooking and see Papa's cows...what more could a girl ask for...hehehe.


Now back to this thing we call real life, right? We are busy (just like all of you) getting ready for the Christmas holiday. We have Christmas with all of my family this coming weekend, and then with Todd's family next week. We can hardly wait! We are so looking forward to the experience with Maggie this year. Last year she was only 6 months old, and not even crawling yet! This year she is walking, talking, dancing, singing and shouting! One year has made such a difference. We know she is going to love Christmas time!


Below are all of our pictures from our trip. Several are pretty silly...but I am looking at our blog as a scrap book...so you guys get the goofy ones too. It is so awkward to make a post, without even one single picture of Maggie. Check back real soon, I am sure we will have Christmas pics from the upcoming weekend.
