Cold day...

With this cold weather Maggie got all bundled up for a little playtime outside last week. I thought she looked so cute in her little hat and mittens. She is definetly an outside gal. She is so happy being outside. We don't even have to have toys out...she just enjoys running around in our grass and driveway, or sitting on the step on our front porch. We are looking forward to warmer days ahead!

Cutie pie just sittin' on the step...being happy to be outside!

I just love the red nose and cheeks...think it was time to go in the house.

Isn't my girl getting so BIG! I thought she looked so "angelic" with the sun shining in on her...we all no, no toddler is "angelic" though...right?

Okay...so the next little thing is a video from the other night...we had to share it...for nothing else, we hope it makes you laugh out loud. Because we sure did!

Please do not be offended that our child is so very close with her little "Buddy" (that is actually our Daschund's name) or concerned for Maggie's well being. They wrestle like this regularly, and he would never dream of biting her. We think Maggie has some pretty smooth moves...what do you think?

Days of craze......

Days of CRAZY hair...that is! Whew, has this cold and dry air taken a toll on our sweet girls hair. She has had some very interesting hair-do's these days! The static alone is enough to power our neighborhood. Poor thing, we flinch before we kiss her...we know a little shock is coming. Oh well, her smooches are worth the pain...:)!

Below are a few humorous pictures of her interesting hair-do's we recently caught on camera.

Hope they make you smile!

Take care and love to all!

This one we like to call the perky pony-tail...they do not normally stand at a 90 degree angle AWAY from her head like this!

This one we like to call the "classic tubby time mo-hawk" gone bad!

And this one is our favorite...can you say "static"...once again at a 90 degree away from her sweet head! We think her hair has a mind of it's own sometimes.

Todd and I got to have a date night this Friday. Yippee! We went to dinner and to the Ft. Worth Stock Show Ranch Rodeo...can you say YeeeHawww!

Tubby time...

Bath time is one of our favorite times of the day! Maggie is especially a fan of her tubby time. She is like a little fish in the water. We have to practically force her out of the tub when she gets all "pruney". We can't wait until the summer gets her and she can take a swim in the pool!

Below are some fun pics from her tubby time tonight. She had the biggest, happiest and toothiest grins in them (all those teeth seem so big in her tiny mouth). I couldn't resist sharing them with all of you. Hope they make you smile!

Love to all...

Here is our girl with her "bath-time" washable crayons...what are they gonna think of next? Have you ever seen a cuter booty?

Our cutie pie little lady bug...fresh from the tub

Happy New Year!

Hello, 2009! I love life happening the way that it does. I just feel like everyday keeps bringing me more of the good stuff! Getting older is great, in my opinon!

Thank you God, for all of the wonderful things you bless me with...my personal relationship with you, my husband, my daughter and my family...my health, my home, my friends and church...my Sonic, my Bueno...okay I could go on and on! I'll stop! But seriously--I am just so excited about what the future holds for me and my family...more adventure, more vacations, more quality time with family, deeper friendships, more organization, new learning opportunities, more giving, a deeper walk with the Lord, and just maybe--even another BABY!

Who knows...life will just have to keep happening...and we will see!

As a saved person, isn't it so wonderful, that in these uncertain times of economic crisis, war in Iraq, Obama in office...etc...that I have no reason to be anxious! In fact, my bible, commands that I be anxious for nothing! I know we have all heard that one before...

Anyway---I just want to pass on a heartfelt---Happy New Year!

I pray and hope for you and your family that you will be able to step back and examine all of the things that God has blessed you with and sing His praise for it! For He is good and faithful... a sweet friend of mine shared this verse with me today...Jeremiah 29:11-13 "I know the plans I have for you," announces the Lord. "I want you to enjoy success. I do not plan to harm you. I will give you hope for the years to come. Then you will call out to me. You will come and pray to me. And I will listen to you. When you look for me with all your heart, you will find me.

The Lord is so good!

Much love to all & and I am blessed to be a part of your life...
Leah

Kids do the cutest things sometimes...

Maggie has been doing some of the cutest things lately...okay she always does cute stuff (at least to us) but today we caught a few of them on camera!

Maggie with her head in a plastic wrapper thingy...

Maggie in a box...need I say more...kids just love boxes don't they!
Yesterday, while we were at home watching the Rose Parade in California on TV, Maggie noticed all of the floats were made out of flowers...so what does our child do? She went up to the TV and started sniffing it! It was precious!
Life is so FULL with children! Thank you Lord for the blessing that she is to Todd and I!
Hope these made you smile!
Love to all...

More Christmas with the Hunt's...

On Saturday, December 27th we celebrated Christmas with all of Todd's family at our house. We had 15 people there including all of Todd's brothers and their wives and children, as well as Todd's parents! We had a great time together. We opened presents, had mexican food and margarita's and watched all of the kiddos play with their new gifts!

The day came and went all too quickly! Below are pics from our time together.

Love to all and Happy New Year, almost!

All of the gang, gathered in our living room...can you believe that present pile...it was huge!

Maggie got this adorable pink shopping cart from her Uncle Clay, Aunt Jenny and cousins Lincoln and Lucy...she loves it!

Maggie was "helping" Daddy put the shopping cart together! Too cute...like I said in the last post...Pete and Repeat!

Davis and Papaw...some handsome fellows, huh!

Lincoln opening his gifts...what a cute smile!

Maggie and her new little doggy...that looks just like our real doggy Buddy...I think this face she was making was..."I can't believe all these presents are for me"! What a spoiling Christmas was for her!

Lucy...aka...HOLLYWOOD!

Lincoln giving Maggie a ride on Lucy's new Strawberrt Shortcake tricycle!

Davis trying to fit in Maggie's little pink car...too funny! He almost got stuck! I am sure he will be mortified that I posted this picture! A tough guy in a pink car...hehehehe! Love you Davis!

Maggie and her Uncle Nathan...

Christmas morning...

Christmas morning at home...what a blessing!

This was the first year EVER in our 5 years of marriage, that Todd and I were able to be at our home...together...on the actual Christmas morning (with my goofy work schedule, having to work holdiays or traveling to Lubbock to be with Todd's family--it just has never happened before)!

We had a wonderful time and made many memories. We really enjoyed watching Maggie wake up to her new presents. We had coffee, a yummy breakfast and we stayed in our PJ's until the afternoon!

Todd's parents, little brother Nathan and little sister Hannah were also able to be with us on Christmas morning. They were actually in town almost the whole week, from Wednesday until Sunday. It was so nice to spend such quality time with them. Maggie enjoyed all of the endless attention from all of them too!

We are so very blessed to have such a loving and generous families on both sides of our family!

Below are some pics from the day!

Why is it that kiddos always open the present, and then get in the box it came in?

More playing together...with her new ball machine!

Too funny right? Todd's parents bought these adorable matching #48 Jimmie Johnson Nascar chairs for Maggie and Todd! Can you say...Pete and Repeat!
