Maggie's Kindergarten Graduation 2013...

How could it be that my baby girl is a Kindergarten graduate??? What a wonderful first year of school Mags had. We love her little school, loved her teachers, loved how much she blossomed both academically and emotionally!

The class got to participate in a special graduation ceremony complete with cap & gowns and pomp & circumstance. They had an award ceremony, a reception with refreshments and then each kiddo had a little display of various works from the year. Mrs. Potter had also done a really neat video montage from the year with pictures of all of the kids. She also had picked a scripture to match each kiddo. So, so, so precious! I was a tearful mess.
Love this sweet school picture we received as a gift from the school. Maggie and many things that describe her...it says "likes painting nails, science and center time & crafts, wants to be a nurse when she grows up, loves My little Pony, swimming and Mac-n-cheese, is loving, funny, sweet, silly, caring and loud (hahaha, comes by it honestly), hugging". We thought it was really a special gift.
Maggie got to lead her class in to the graduation ceremony!

They sang a little song...
Mrs. Potter gave out a "candy" award to each student. Maggie received the "lifesaver" candy award for always being a good friend...helpful in class and sweet to her peers. Love it!

Maggie and her Mrs. Potter!

She had a few supporters in the crowd...Todd, my mom, grandmother and niece all came out to see her "graduate". It was a really sweet and special day! 1st grade here she comes!!!!
