Viva, Las Vegas!!!!
Last week, Todd and I were able to getaway on a little 2 night/3 day trip to good ole' Las Vegas. Todd had a business expo/conference to attend, and his boss-man and him collaborated and decided it would be a perfect trip to include wives on. A little business, and a lot of pleasure. Yay, for me and Nancy (Todd's boss Brad's wife, whom I adore!).
We slept all night long, uninterrupted....we slept in late....we ate grown up food...and had adult conversation. We had quality time to reconnect and be a couple. It was glorious fun!
Some of the highlights of the trip were staying at the Paris Hotel, touring through The Bellagio hotel flower gardens, seeing the Cirque Du Soleil show "Mystere", eating at Hugo's Cellar, riding in a limo for the first time and checking out Fremont Street.
We were really excited to be away for a few days....and then equally excited to come home! We were refreshed, rested and ready to be a family of 4 again. Our sweet girls got to spend their "stay-cation" at my parents house. They had a great visit, and were totally spoiled by the time we got home by Gigi and Papa. They played, swung, crafted, saw their cousins, swam in the hot tub, cooked and played games.
Thank you Mom and Daddy for watching the girls, we are ever so grateful!
In the airport, fun little sign...
Brad and Nancy Bryant...Todd's boss and wife. A darling couple, that we get along with super! Todd is really blessed to work with and for Brad. He and Todd are a lot alike, and Brad has really mentored Todd over the last (almost) 5 years. We really enjoyed getting to know them more on this trip.
Down on Fremont Street...
Our limo...
Such beauty...and ALL made from fresh flowers. It smelled so good...I told Todd I thought it was what heaven would smell like!

L.O.V.E!
What a fun getaway! You two deserved some time away, for sure. I know that the girls had a ball with their grandparents and that your Mom & Dad enjoyed them tremendously. Everyone was a winner! :)
